TERMS & CONDITIONS

OVERVIEW –

This website is operated by Outdoor Movie Guys also known as OMG Perth. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Outdoor Movie Guys/OMG Perth. Outdoor Movie Guys offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. “You” refers to the hire and the user of the equipment.

 

FINANCIAL –

  • May require a $250.00 refundable deposit
  • Additional transport costs may apply to some areas. Prices will be quoted in advance when provided with your location is provided
  • Payment as discussed to be made on or before the installation
  • Cancellation – advise us at least 6 hours in advance if you wish to cancel. There will be no charge then. However, if you cancel 2 hours before our agreed time of arrival or after we arrive at your location, the full payment will be charged

 

OUR COMMITMENT –

  • Our service is fully West Australian owned and family run.
  • This is our passion and we are realistic about how the movie projection works. We have a clear understanding of what is possible. Eg: Projection Image is visible only after sunset. So, it will not work if you are planning to view before sunset.
  • Our equipment is well tested and will deliver a great cinema experience.
  • We cover Perth Metro areas and some regional areas.
  • No hidden costs. Prices include delivery, setting-up, removal and transport as  described.
  • We do not supply DVDs or media.  We provide the equipment for you to play your own DVDs/media.
  • During summer, sundown can be as late as 7:30pm (19:30 Hrs). Outdoor movies can’t be watched till sundown. So, please work around sunset times. You may visit Timeanddate.com to find out when the sun is setting for the selected date.
  • We will set the equipment at a pre-arranged time and the client will get a rundown on the operation of equipment.
  • Most equipment such as Apple TV, Chromecast, Game Consoles and Computers can be connected via HDMI interface. However, some of the above can be temperamental with their connectivity, syncing and other technical issues related to client’s equipment. This is a situation we have no control over.
  • A ground area of approx. 2.8 – 3.4m wide x 3- 4m depth x 2.4 – 3m height is required for set up.
  • Some locations may not be suitable due excessive ambient lighting, noise or wind gusts.
  • We cannot install outdoors during winter months or inclement weather.

 

CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY –

  • Once installed, the client remains responsible for the equipment. It is the responsibility of the client to reimburse us for damages, loss or theft of equipment hired.
  • We are not responsible for the safety of persons present or client’s moveable and immoveable property. We will not be held responsible for any damages or injuries occurred to the mentioned.
  • Client must provide a suitable single PowerPoint (GPO) within a 30 meter distance.
  • Equipment is not water resistant, fire proof, puncture-proof or weather proof. It is the responsibility of the client to safeguard the equipment from water damage, stain damage, punctures or other. Reticulation must be switched off during the entire period the equipment being on location.
  • Once you have concluded using the equipment, it must be disconnected and stored safely undercover or indoors.
  • Responsible adult supervision is required during the period of hire. We have the right to refuse installation if adequate adult supervision is not present. Bookings must be made by an adult.
